I had such a wonderful group of guests staying over this weekend.

One couple were celebrating their engagement and had stayed a luxurious night at Spicers Tamarind as a gift, then went hiking at Kondalilla Falls and kicked back for another night of childless bliss at my very humble (compared to Spicers) place with a BBQ , wine and a swim by the pool.

Another  couple came for a 30th birthday at Key Restaurant – and it turns out they had help  my daughter,  Laura, choose a horse named Hassa many years ago. Small world.

Our Sunday guests arrived to go to an 11 am  High Tea Wedding at Tiffanies which they said was just wonderful. Other guests came and went with activities meeting up with family and friends.

I love the way strangers  come and mingle and share stories from around the world.  It is so delightful that the world can come  right to my door here in Maleny.

Feeling very good about the new direction and the homely accommodation I can provide here in Maleny.
